
The Sister Mary C. Sullivan Living Mercy Award is given in memory of Mary Sullivan, RSM, a Sister of Mercy, educator, administrator, author and the preeminent historian on the life of Catherine McAuley.
Sister Mary was one of the founders of Mercy Focus on Haiti, and was deeply committed to improving
the lives of the Haitian people through creativity, consultation and collaboration.
The recipient of this award embodies the compassion, determination and Mercy-filled spirit of Sister Mary in working to provide opportunities to empower the people of Haiti.
